A. Use by or for PSO-RITE

PSO-RITE may use the information we collect from and about you for any of the following purposes:

• To validate, confirm, verify, deliver, and track your order (including to process payment card transactions, arrange for shipping, handle returns and refunds, and contact you about your orders, including by telephone) or to service products you purchased from us;
• To enhance your online shopping experience, including as a way to recognize you and welcome you to the Site;
• To review the usage and operations of our Site, develop new products or services, and conduct analysis to enhance or improve our content, products, and services;
• To provide you with customized Site content, targeted offers, and advertising on the Site, via e-mail, text message or push notification, or across other websites, mobile applications, social media or online services;
• To direct communications and targeted offers to people whose interests or characteristics are similar to yours;
• To contact you with information, newsletters and promotional materials from PSO-RITE or on behalf of our partners and affiliates;
• To use your data in an aggregated non-specific format for analytical and demographic purposes;
• To address problems with the Site or our business, and to protect the security or integrity of the Site and our business;
• To use and disclose your credit/debit card information only to process payments and prevent fraud; and
• For other purposes disclosed at the time you provide your information or otherwise with your consent.

Additionally, if you use the Site to connect with third-party services, such as social media sites, you authorize us to use information from and about you, on your behalf, to interact with these third-party services based on your requests.

We may use third parties to measure and target advertisements for us about our products and services tailored to your online interests. We allow these third-party companies to use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags and similar technologies to collect certain data and other information about your online activity. These third parties use this information to display advertisements for PSO-RITE on the Site or across other websites, mobile applications, social media or online services that you use. 

We also may display interest-based ads through Facebook, Twitter, or other social media platforms or websites. We may use Facebook Custom Audiences, Twitter Tailor Audiences, or other similar business tools. These tools allow us to personalize our ads based on your shopping/online experience with us, without having to share your personal information with these social media platforms. We do this only by sharing hashed information (which converts your e-mail or phone number to a unique string of numbers and letters) that the social media platform then matches against its own data for the limited purpose of serving advertisements (either directly to you or to other lookalike audiences). These platforms then delete the matched and unmatched hashes, and do not use them for any other purpose.

The Site may offer ways to find, enjoy, and share content. Your activity in connection with the Site may include filling out surveys, reviewing and rating products or services, inquiring about or purchasing products or services, participating in online communities, “liking” or “sharing” our content to your social media accounts or pages or otherwise interacting with the Site. Any information you may disclose on our Site, in blogs, on message boards, in chat rooms, or on other public areas on the Site or other third-party websites, applications, or services that this Site may link to, becomes public information. Please exercise caution when disclosing personal information in these public areas.

We may share your personal information with the following:

• Affiliates: We may share your information with PSO-RITE affiliates and subsidiaries for business, operational, promotional and marketing purposes.
• Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers that provide business, professional or technical support functions for us (including to the extent necessary or desirable to fulfill or ship your order or complete your transaction), help us operate our business and the Site, or administer activities on our behalf.
• Co-Branded Relationships: Certain areas of our Site may be provided to you in association with third parties, such as advertisers that provide products and services or rewards programs. We may share information with these third parties if you participate in a co-branded, co-sponsored, or jointly presented promotion, contest, survey, voting feature, or service.
• Sweepstakes, Contests, and Promotions: If you choose to enter into one of our sweepstakes, contests, or other promotions (a “Promotion”) we may disclose your information to third parties or the public in connection with administering the Promotion, as required by law, as otherwise permitted by the Promotion’s official rules, or otherwise in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
• Marketing Partners: We may share your name, address, telephone number, data about your purchases, and other similar information with other companies or organizations outside of PSO-RITE (such as our sponsors, partners, advertisers, advertising networks, advertising servers and analytics companies or other third parties in connection with marketing, promotional, and other offers, as well as product information). We may also share your information with third parties we identify at the time you provide your personal information or otherwise with your consent. You have the option to opt-in to receive direct marketing from these selected third parties. These entities’ use of such information is subject to their respective privacy policies.
• Third PartiesWe may share your name, address, telephone number, data about your purchases, and other similar information with other companies or organizations outside of PSO-RITE. These entities’ use of such information is subject to their respective privacy policies.
• Legal Matters; Safety: We may access and disclose your information to respond to subpoenas, judicial processes, or government requests and investigations, or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law. We may disclose your information to protect the security of our Site, servers, network systems, and databases. We also may disclose your information as necessary, if we believe that there has been a violation of our Terms of Service, any other legal document or contract related to our services, or the rights of any third party.
• Sale or Transfer of Business or Assets: We may sell or purchase assets during the normal course of our business. If another entity acquires us or any of our assets, information we have collected about you may be transferred to such entity. In addition, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, such information may be considered an asset of ours and may be sold or transferred to third parties. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to try to require that the transferee use personal information provided through this Site in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.
• Aggregate or Anonymous Non-Personal Information: We may also share aggregate, anonymous, or de-identified non-personal information with third parties for their marketing or analytics uses.
• Other: We also may share your information as disclosed to you at the time of collection.

Certain parts of our Site require cookies. You may adjust your device or Internet browser settings to limit certain tracking or to decline cookies, but by doing so, you may not be able to use certain features of the Site or take full advantage of all of our offerings. Please refer to your device’s settings or your Internet browser’s “Help” section for more information on how to delete and/or disable your device or browser from receiving cookies or controlling your tracking preferences.

Our system may not recognize Do Not Track requests or headers from some or all browsers. We may use cookies or other technologies to deliver more relevant advertising and to link data collected across other computers or devices that you may use.

Even if you opt out, you still may receive advertising from us that is not customized based on your Site or usage information, or advertising from other third parties if they are not DAA or NAI participating companies.

We provide our customers with the opportunity to update their information or opt out of having their information used for purposes not directly related to placement, processing, fulfillment, or delivery of a product order or servicing of your product. To opt out of marketing communications, you may:

• Unsubscribe from our e-mail communications at any time by following the instructions contained within any PSO-RITE marketing e-mail.

We will process your instructions to limit the use of your information for these purposes as soon as reasonably practicable. Additionally, we are not responsible for informing third parties (including without limitation our third-party service providers or partners) with whom we have already shared your personal information of any changes requested pursuant to this section, or for removing information from or causing information to be removed from the databases or records of such entities

If you wish to verify, correct, or update any of your personal information, you may visit the “Account Page” on the Site to sign in to your account, or otherwise contact us at the address or e-mail in the “Contact Us” section below. If you choose to deactivate your account, we may still retain certain information for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Service or other policies, take actions we deem necessary due to technical and legal requirements, and as dictated by constraints related to the security, integrity and operation of our Site.
